Minnesota - North Western:

Demonstrated need for a Family Practice physician for a small rural town in North Western Minnesota.  Competitive compensation based upon training and experience. Benefit package will include life, health, disability, dental and malpractice insurance, as well as liberal vacation, CME time, and a relocationallowance.

If you're looking for a friendly place with plenty of small town atmosphere, This is the place for you. Located in the extreme northwestern portion of Minnesota, the community is a Minnesota Star City and the county seat of Kittson County.

This community is located in the Red River Valley, home of some of the best soil for farming in the world. Therefore farming and its related industries provide a large share of the employment and tax base for this community of approximately 1200 people. However, within 1⁄2 hour's drive are the northern tall-grass prairie, aspen park-land, and northern Minnesota forested areas. Because of its location, this is a diverse community with many different opportunities and activities.

Building blocks of the community are its facilities, including quality schools, hospital & nursing home, Kittson County Courthouse, dentists, optometrist, and pharmacy. Other businesses include several construction firms, newspaper, and many service related businesses.

Family Practice with OB

Great practice opportunity for a physician who wants to be in a “small town” how small…less than 1,000 with a service area of 5000 - 6000.  Just over an hour from a community with a population of 120,000+.  You will practice with two full-time physicians and 1 part-time nurse practitioner in a modern well-equipped clinic.  Compensation will be $140,000 - $150,000, guaranteed for two years, plus a signing bonus of $25,000 as well as “money for student loans."  Call will be º with one of those call days shared with the nurse practitioner.  Step into this practice and be busy immediately.

Minnesota - Central:

Immediate need for a Family Practice physician, with OB. Compensation will be $130,000 + $25,000 (approximately) for call.  Call will be 1 in 7.  Incentive bonus based on RVUs to recognize productivity. Signing bonuses will be discussed on an individual basis, based on training and experience.   Excellent benefits that include liberal time off for vacation and CME, life, health, disability, dental and malpractice insurance, and a generous relocation allowance.  In addition, student loan repayment may also be considered.

This community of roughly 2,300 residents is located approximately 90 miles Northwest of the Twin Cities.  The local health care system is the largest employer in the community employing over 400 people. The health care system consists of seven clinics, an acute care hospital, an ER, ambulance service, and an assisted living facility.  In 2003, the medical facilities completed a $7.5 million dollar remodeling project, that included an addition to the main clinic, a new emergency wing, and the addition of a second surgical suite.
The area has 3 large lakes within 10 miles of each other, that provide ample fishing and water recreation possibilities.  In addition to the lakes, a wealth of activates, both in and outdoors, provide opportunities for nature lovers and for those who prefer to be active in doors.  Fishing, hiking, hunting, golfing, and sporting interests can be pursued outside, while shopping, movie going, and museums are available inside.

North Dakota - South Eastern:

Immediate need for two Family Practice physicians, one with OB and one without OB.  Physician will be employed by large multi-specialty group.  These opportunities are located in South Eastern North Dakota approximately 50 miles south of main facility.  Compensation will be $120,000 - $130,000 in addition to a  benefit package that includes relocation, access to student loan funds and an extremely attractive "signing bonus," call for details.

Community of 9000 is very supportive of the physician practice. NO OB.  Physician will be responsible for working with rural clinics as well as some responsibility in the local hospital clinic.  Compensation will be commensurate with training and experience. Iowa  - South Central:

Family Practice with OB

Four physician owned family practice clinic has a demonstrated need for another Family Practice physician with OB experience.  Will consider residents and practicing physicians, and are willing to wait for the "right" candidate.  A very competitive compensation package, that will be supplemented with a production incentive plan, will be discussed on an individual basis.  Benefits will include life, health, disability, dental and malpractice insurance, a relocation allowance, liberal vacation and CME time.  In addition, a partnership track may be available.  Call will be 1 in 5 for Family Practice, 1 in 3 for OB.

Nebraska - North Central:

Community of 4,000 has an immediate need for a BE/BC Family Practice physician who does OB.  The opportunity is available now, however they are willing to wait for a resident.  Compensation will be $120,000 to $130,000 and guaranteed for two years.  In addition there is a signing bonus and relocation allowance.  The benefits will include life, health, disability and malpractice insurance as well as liberal vacation and CME time and money for CME attendance.  This is an employed opportunity, which means you practice medicine and "they" take care of the practice.  There is no headaches about staffing, bills, taxes, insurance and day-to-day operations; it's all done for you.

Weekend call is covered 24/7. Except for local OB needs which is usually worked out among the medical staff.  The midlevel providers cover primary call, with the physician as backup.  There are three mid levels in the clinic to assist with the patient volume as well as rotate in the call schedule.
The community of 4,000 is in North Central Nebraska among rolling hills and grasslands.  There is excellent pheasant, prairie chicken and white tail deer hunting.  The community is rich in Irish heritage and tradition.  There is even a large shamrock built into one of the major intersections of town.  I have been told that this is the "place to be on St. Patty's Day."  There is a catholic school (k-12), public school (K-12), and an Evangelical Christian School (K-8).  The economic base of the community is farming, ranching and tourism.  There are six parks in town and a full time community park and recreation staff to facilitate activities within the community.  There is a 25-bed community hospital that is economically sound and fully supported by the health system.
